Dr. Wright received his undergraduate degree from Hendrix University and his M.D. from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. His post-graduate training included an internal medicine residency at St. Louis University and Fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. When he returned to Arkansas in 1979, Dr. Wright became Arkansas’ first Fellowship trained geriatrician and has enjoyed a career that spans more than three decades in the community based practice of geriatric medicine.Dr. Wright is a board certified in both Geriatric Medicine and Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine.
